“ For the walk and picnic, we'll meet in the parking lot next to Vahl's and head down to the Giant Light Bulb and the Alviso Marina County Park. For the Piano Bar event at Vahl's, meet at the door to Vahl's at 7:30 or find us in the bar. ”
We'll start at 6:00 for a walk along the bay with a quick picnic at Alviso Marina County Park and photo opportunities at the Giant Light Bulb. If you can't arrive by 6:00, call when you get there and we can meet up along the route somewhere. It can be cool and breezy along the bay, yet brightly sunny, so as usual, bring layered clothing. Before Karaoke, there were piano bars! Sing to live accompaniment at Vahl's Restaurant, a historic, humorous, homey atmosphere.Alviso sets the standard for the definition of "Funky."
And if you don't like to sing, you can laugh at -- er, I mean, "encourage" those of us who do.
